Bhel lovers, here's a beautiful and decadent bhel made using sago to treat your taste buds!
SABUANA BHEL

Ingredients

2 cups soaked sago (sabudana)
3-4 tbsps oil
¼ cup raw peanuts
2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and cut into 1 inch cubes
¼ cup fresh pomegranate pearls
¼ cup chana jor garam
¼ cup aloo ka salli + for garnish
1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves + for garnish
1 tsp Tata Sampann Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp dried mango powder
¼ tsp chaat masala
¼ tsp black salt
¼ cup chopped raw mango
2-3 tbsps date and tamarind chutney


Method

1. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick pan, add sago and toss well. Cook for 6-8 minutes or till done. Take the pan off the heat and transfer on a plate and allow to cool.
2. Heat remaining oil in the same pan. Add peanuts and sauté till golden brown. Add potatoes, mix and cook till golden brown. Set aside.
3. Take the cooled sago in a large bowl, add the potatoes and peanuts. Add pomegranate pearls, chana jor garam, masala dal, aloo ka salli, green chillies, coriander leaves, Tata Sampann Chilli Powder, salt, dried mango powder, chaat masala, black salt, raw mango, and drizzle date and tamarind chutney and gently mix till well combined.
4. Serve immediately garnished with aloo ka salli and coriander leaves.
