SABUDANA CHAATIngredients1 cup sago (sabudana), soaked and drained¼ cup roasted salted peanuts2 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated1 tsp ginger-green chilli paste½ tsp lemon juice1 tbsp freshly chopped coriander leaves + for garnishSalt to tasteOil for deep fryingSweetened yogurt as requiredGreen chutney for drizzlingTata Sampann Tamarind And Date Chutney as requiredChaat masala for sprinklingSev for sprinklingMethod1. In a mortar and pestle, add peanuts and coarsely crush them. Set aside. 2. In a large bowl, add sabudana, potatoes and crushed peanuts. Add ginger-green chilli paste, lemon juice, chopped coriander, salt, and mix well. 3. Take a generous portion of the mixture and shape it into a tikki.4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, drop the prepared tikkis and deep fry till golden and brown. Drain on an absorbent paper.5. For serving, place a sabudana tikki on a serving plate and crush it.
