Sabudana Green Gram Combo Dosa | Sujan Fun Kitchen

Being Navratri time, there's an excitement in the air - people visiting each others' homes, cooking exotic meals, experimenting healthy recipes to facilitate Vrat/fasting etc..So I didn't want to be left behind and I made this healthy and tasty Dosa - Sabudana Green Gram Combo Dosa! This Dosa combines carbohydrates and proteins making it an ideal food for everyone.

So let's hop into Sujan Fun Kitchen for another easy and healthy recipe - Sabudana Green Gram Combo Dosa.

Ingredients:

Sabudana/Tapioca pearls - 1 cup

Whole green gram/Mung - 1 cup

Cumin seeds/jeera - 1 tsp

Ginger - to taste

Green chillies - 2 or 3

Asaefotida - ½ tsp

Salt to taste

Oil as required

Method:

Wash Sabudana thoroughly in water till the water becomes almost clear - soak in water for 4 to 5 hours or preferably overnight

Wash the green gram and soak in water for 4 or 5 hours or preferably overnight

After soaking, grind the sabudana to a smooth paste - keep aside

Now, grind the green gram along with cumin seeds, ginger and green chillies to a smooth texture

Then, add both the sabudana mix and the green mix together adding salt and asaefotida in a bowl

Mix very well to make a thick batter, little thicker than that of Dosa

Heat a griddle and make golden coloured, healthy dosas

Combine with Tomato chutney, green chutney or Ginger chutney
