A delicious and comforting Kadhi made using Sabut Moong Dal. SABUT MOONG KI KADHIIngredients1 tbsp oil1 tsp cumin seeds½ tsp dried fenugreek seedsA pinch of asafoetida2-3 curry leaves1 tsp garlic paste1 small onion, finely chopped1½ cups whole green gram (sabut moong), soaked and drained½ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste1 ½ tsps red chilli powder1 tsp coriander powder2½ cups buttermilk (chaach)2 tbsps Tata Sampann Fine Besan1 tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and garlic paste, sauté for a few seconds.2. Add onion and sauté till golden brown. Add moong, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and mix well. Cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.3. Take buttermilk in a bowl and add Tata Sampann Fine Besan, whisk till well combined and lumps free. Set aside.4. Add the yogurt mixture into the pan. Mix well till the mixture comes to a boil. 5. Add dried fenugreek leaves and allow to cook for 1 minute. Take it off the heat and transfer to a serving bowl.6.
