An interesting sabzi with Onion as the star of the dish. SABUT PYAZ KI SABZIIngredients8-10 small onion, peeled3 tbsps oil2 medium tomatoes, cut into quarters7-8 garlic cloves1 inch ginger, roughly chopped1-2 green chillies, slit1 tsp cumin seeds1 dried red chilli½ tsp turmeric powderSalt to taste1½ tsps red chilli powder2 tbsps yogurt1 tsp Tata Sampann Kitchen King MasalaSliced green chillies for garnishMethod1. Make incisions on the top and bottom of the onions. Set aside.2. Heat 2 tbsps oil in a non-stick pan, place the onion on the pan and slightly sauté and cook till the onions turn golden brown. Turning them occasionally.3. Meanwhile, in a blender jar, add tomatoes, garlic cloves, ginger, green chillies and little water and blend to a fine paste.4. For the tempering, heat remaining oil in another non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, red chilli and allow the seeds to change colour.5. Add the prepared paste and mix well. Add turmeric powder, salt and red chilli powder. Mix well, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes or till the oil separates.6. Add onions, yogurt and mix well. Add Tata Sampann Kitchen King Masala and mix well. Cover and cook for 1 minute.7.
