On Day 32 my wife and I started the day off by going to Russ & Daughters, which is another legendary restaurants in NYC for salmon bagels. I then had what could be the best tacos in NYC at Los Tacos No.1.

00:25 Russ & Daughters - When I asked where to eat in NYC, one of the top recommendations along with Katz’s deli was Russ & Daughters, which is a legendary deli in NYC that specializes in cured and smoked salmon with bagels and cream cheese. Russ & Daughters is nearly always packed, and when I went we had to take a number and then wait in line for about 15 minutes to get our order. Although it’s quite touristy in NYC, it still remains a classic and a food lover's place in the city. I ordered the Russ & Daughters classic sandwich that included Scottish smoked salmon, caviar cream cheese, onions, and tomatoes. I kind of regret not order the belly lox on a bagel as well, but Russ & Daughters is pretty expensive. Although the bagel and salmon was small and expensive for what it was, it was amazingly good.

7:15 Los Tacos No.1 at Chelsea Market - After an NYC classic salmon bagel, we headed over to Chelsea Market. I wasn’t too interested in much else at the market except for Los Tacos No.1 as I was ready for some proper tacos. Just from the looks of the place, the aroma of the meats and the salsas, and from the line, I knew if was going to be good. I decided to go with all tacos and I ordered adobada, pollo asado, nopal and carne asada. All the tacos were freshly prepared and assembled before being served and I added on some more salsas before grabbing them to takeaway. All the tacos were good, but by far the best tacos in my opinion at Los Tacos No.1 is the adobada. I could have eaten another couple plates of tacos de adobada, they were so good. Total price - $14

14:7 High Line - After those amazing tacos at Los Tacos No.1, we then took a walk over to the High Line, an park in New York City that has turned into a top tourist attraction and built on an old railroad track. It’s pretty cool and well worth visiting when you’re in NYC.

16:20 Cho Dang Gol - Finally for dinner, I honestly didn’t really have any plans and we didn’t want to go far from out hotel, so we went to a Korean restaurant called Cho Dang Gol. They specialize in sundubu jjigae, soft tofu soup, and one of my personal favorite Korean dishes. Unfortunately it was ok at best, a little plain tasting for me. Total price - $55.

Another good day of food in New York City. The salmon cream cheese bagel at Russ & Daughters was good, but the food highlight of the day for me was tacos at Los Tacos No.1.
