Salt and Pepper Edamame Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This quick Japanese stir-fry is a simple fresh soya bean stir-fry with just two seasoning ingredients.

SALT AND PEPPER EDAMAME

Ingredients

400 grams frozen edamame pods (fresh soya beans), thawed
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tsps finely chopped garlic
Salt to taste
tsp black peppercorn powder
Red chili flakes for garnish

Method

1. Heat sesame oil in a shallow pan, add garlic and saut on high heat till it tuns golden. Add edamame pods, salt and black peppercorn powder.
2. Toss till well combine and continue to cook for 2 mins.
3. Transfer the edamame on a serving plate, garnish with red chili flakes; and serve.
