Sama Pancake Tiffin Recipes Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi

#samapancake is a traditional barnyard millet pancake for upvas.
Ingredients Quantity
For Batter
Sama rice flour 1 cup
Almond powder cup
Curd 2 tbsp
Powdered sugar 2 tbsp + for frosting
Sendha namak a pinch
Baking powder tsp
Water as required
For Making Pancake:-
Butter 2 tbsp
Mix berries chopped cup + for garnish
Honey cup

Method:-
For batter
1. Take a mixing bowl and add Sama rice flour, almond powder, curd, powdered sugar, sendha namak, baking powder and water as required mix it well and batter should be in thick consistency.
2. Now let the batter rest for 15 mins.
3. Meanwhile set a tawa on low heat.
4. Further check the consistency of the batter and add water mix well.
5. In a tawa add butter and pour small droplets of batter and cook on low to medium flame for 1-2 mins and carefully flip and cook another side.
6. Remove in a serving plate.
7. Garnish with honey, powdered sugar and mixed berries.
8. Serve immediately.
