Toor dal ( soaked ) - 1cup
Water - 12cups ( for rice and dal to cook)
Turmeric - 1/4tsp

Sesame oil - 4tbs
Mustard seeds - 1tsp
Curry leaves
Small onion - 10nos
Big onion - 1no
Green chilli - 2nos
Tomato - 2nos
Carrot - 1/2cup
Beans - 1/2cup
Green peas 1/4cup
Drumstick - 1no
Brinjal - 2nos
Sambar powder - 2tbs
Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1tsp
Rock salt - 1tbs
Tamarind pulp water - 1/2cup
Jaggery - a pinch
Coriander leaves

For tampering
Ghee - 3tbs
Cashewnut
Dry red chilli
