Ingredients

5 to 7 pound ham bone-in, non spiral sliced
1/4 cup stone-ground mustard
1/8 cup brown sugar
1/2 can pineapple rings

Instructions

1 Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

2 Combine mustard and brown sugar in a small bowl.

3 Place ham in an oven safe dish, cut side down if ham has a cut edge. Score the ham to help the spread stick. If there are any thick layers of skin, trim off. Spread mustard and brown sugar mixture over ham.

4 Place pineapple rings on the exterior of the ham.

5 Cover tightly with foil and/or lid. It is extremely important that the foil/lid is tight so the ham won't dry out.

6 Place in oven and cook low and slow until ham reaches an internal temperature over 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Based on the size of the ham, that can be anywhere from 5-7 hours. Ham needs to shred easily, so if it is still tough, let it cook, covered for a bit longer.

7 Let ham rest for 30 minutes before shredding. Enjoy!
