Delicious seviyaan made with rice flour and steamed to perfection. SEVIYAANIngredients2 cups rice flourSalt to taste4 tsps oil + drizzling + greasingJaggery powder to sprinkleCoconut and jaggery milk to serveMethod1. Heat a non-stick deep bottom pan, add 2 cups water and bring it to a boil.2. Add salt, oil, rice flour and continuously keep mixing for a minute. Cover and cook for 5 minutes on low flame.3. Transfer the rice flour mixture in a parat, knead while it is still warm. Continue kneading till it comes to room temperature.4. Grease a chakli press fitted with sev attachment. Shape the prepared mixture into a thick long cylinder and stuff it in the chakli press.5. Heat sufficient water in a non-stick deep bottom pan, place a banana leaf on the steamer and grease it with oil.6. Pipe out the mixture and steam for 5-10 minutes.7.
