This is my Childhood recipe, my mother used dry turnips, during the season and make #delicious #recipe with dried turnips. This #pulao was one of them. #shalgamwaiyowalapulao #winterspecial #easyrecipe #youtube #chefharpalsingh Ingredients QuantityOnion 2no Tomato 2no Ghee 2-3 tbspDry turnip 1 no Water as requiredPunjabi Wadiya 2noBay leaf 1noCinnamon stick 1noCloves 4 to 5 noBlack pepper corn 1tspCumin seeds 1tspSalt to taste Basmati rice 2 cup Method To dry the turnip ,first peel of the turnip and cut it in to thick slices and make a string of turnip slices and dry complete in sunlight for 15 to 20 days Slice the onion, & cut tomatoes in to cubes. Keep it aside. In a pressure cooker add ghee, meanwhile remove the dried turnip from the thread and transfer it to a bowl add water to it and keep it aside. Once the ghee is hot enough add wadiya to the ghee and fry it. Once it's fried properly transfer it in to a bowl add water and keep it aside. In the pressure cooker now add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, black peppercorn, cumin seeds and mix it well and saut till cumin gets light brown in color. Now add sliced onions, mix it well and saut for 1 min. Now add turnip, mix it well and saut for 1 min. Add water, salt and let the mixture get boil for some time. Add diced tomato, wadi and mix well.
