Delightful gravy of roasted peanuts

SHENGDANYACHI AMTI

Ingredients

2 cups roasted and peeled peanuts
3 tbsps ghee
3-4 green chillies
1 tsp cumin seeds
10-12 curry leaves
1½ tsps red chilli powder
4-5 kokum petals
Salt to taste
1 tbsp sugar

Method

1. Grind peanuts with a little water.
2. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Slit green chillies.
3. Add cumin seeds to the pan and saute till it begins to change colour. Add green chillies and curry leaves and saute for ½ minute.
4. Add red chilli powder, ground peanuts and kokum and mix well. Add salt and sugar and mix well.
5. Cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Serve hot.
