Short Cake Trifle

Ingredients for Vanilla Custard:
NESTL MILKPAK Full Cream Milk 2 liters
Vanilla custard mixture (Vanilla Custard Powder 1/2 cup + Milk 1 cup)
Sugar 1 cup

Ingredients for Strawberry Jelly:
Water 2 cups
Strawberry jelly powder 1 cup

Ingredients for Assembling:
Pound cake as required
Prepared vanilla custard
NESTL MILKPAK Dairy Cream as required
Red cherry as required

Directions for Vanilla Custard Preparation:
1. In a pot heat milk and bring it to a boil. Add vanilla custard mixture gradually and stir continuously. Cook until starts to thicken.
2. Add sugar and cook until sugar melts. Your vanilla custard is ready. Set aside.
Directions for Strawberry Jelly Preparation:
3. In a pan heat water and bring it to a boil.
4. Add strawberry jelly powder and cook until it dissolves.
5. Transfer it to a dish and let it cool at room temperature.
6. Now cut the jelly in cubes. Set aside.
Directions for Assembling:
7. In a serving bowl add layers of pound cake, strawberry jelly, NESTL MILKPAK Dairy Cream, vanilla custard, strawberry jelly, vanilla custard, and lastly top with crushed pound cake, strawberry jelly, NESTL MILKPAK Dairy Cream and red cherry.
8. Your Short Cake Trifle is ready.
