SHRIKHAND CAKE JAR

Ingredients

2 cups hung curd
200 grams eggless vanilla sponge cake, cut into small inch cubes
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup hot milk
A large pinch of saffron
Charoli for garnish
Chopped dried figs (anjeer) for garnish
Pistachios powder for garnish

Method

1. To make shrikhand, take hung curd in a large bowl. Add sugar, mix and set it aside for 10 minutes.
2. Take milk in a small bowl. Add saffron and mix well.
3. Strain the curd mixture into another bowl. Transfer this mixture into a piping bag fitted with a star nozzle.
4. To serve, pipe out a portion of the shrikhand into the serving glasses. Place a few cake pieces over it. Drizzle some of the saffron milk mixture.
5. Pipe out the shrikhand on top, garnish with charoli, dried figs, and pistachio powder.
