SNAKE GAURD CURD CHUTNEY | Vahchef - VahRehVah

It conisits of curd and South Indian style simple tempering. It is a kind of curd and snake gourd salad with tempering. Snakegourd is sauteed in a seasoning of curry leaves, green chillies, ginger and mustard seeds before combining with beaten curd

Ingredients:
Snake gourd 2 Numbers
Mustard seeds 1 Tablespoons
Curry leaves 2 Springs
Garlic 5-6 Clove
Coriander 1 Bunch
Green chilli 6-7 Numbers

Directions:
1. Cook the snake gourd roundels in a hot water by adding salt.

2. In a blender add curry leaves, mustard seeds, garlic cloves, coriander, green chillies to make a paste.

3. In this mixture add cooked snake gourd pieces mix it well then let it cool down.

4. Now add beaten curd, salt mix it.

5. For tempering heat oil in a pan add Oil 1tbsp Dry red chilli 2 nos Cumin seeds ½ tsp Chana dal 1 tsp Urad dal 1 tsp, saute it for a minute then add Turmeric pinch Curry leaves 1 sprig and pour this tempering on the top of the chutney.

6. Serve this with plain rice or sambar rice.
