Sofiyani Chicken Tikka | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This delicious chicken tikka recipe is the perfect appetizer for a party or a get-together.

SOFIYANI CHICKEN TIKKA

Ingredients

300 grams boneless chicken legs, cut into 1 inch cubes
2 tsps fennel powder
1 tbsp hung yogurt
2 tsps roasted gram flour
1 tbsp coriander-mint paste
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1½ tsps green-chilli paste
2tspsmustard oil
Salt to taste
1 tbsp mayonnaise
Refined oil for greasing
Butter for basting
Onion rings, for garnish
Lemon wedges, for garnish
Green chutney, for serving

Method

1. Preheat the air fryer at 200˚C.
2. Mix together chicken, hung yogurt, fennel powder, coriander-mint paste, gram flour, ginger-garlic paste, green-chilli paste, mustard oil, salt, mayonnaise in a bowl. Set aside for 15minutes.
3. Grease the air fryer basket with oil; arrange the marinated chicken pieces on it, air fry for 15minutes.
4. Remove the cooked chicken pieces from the air fryer, baste with butter.
5. Garnish with onion rings, lemon wedge. Serve hot with green chutney.
