Hot dog rolls stuffed with spicy soya manchurian mixture drizzled with mayonnaise.SOYA MANCHURIAN HOT DOGIngredients2 cups soya chunks, soaked4 hot dog buns 2 tablespoons soy sauce1½ tablespoons vinegar1 tablespoon tomato ketchup1 tablespoon red chilli paste1 tablespoon oil + for deep-frying 1 tablespoon chopped garlic½ tablespoon chopped ginger3-4 spring onion bulbs, sliced1 medium yellow capsicum, finely choppedSalt to taste½ tablespoon ginger-garlic paste¼ cup cornflour1 tablespoon cornflour slurryChopped spring onion greens for garnishingMayonnaise for drizzlingMethod1. Mix together 1 tablespoon soy sauce, ½ tablespoon vinegar, tomato ketchup and red chilli paste in a bowl. 2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic, ginger and spring onion bulbs, mix and sauté well. 3. Add capsicum and mix. Add prepared sauce mixture and stir. Add salt and little water, mix and bring to a boil. 4. Squeeze soya chunks and put in a bowl. Add remaining vinegar, remaining soy sauce, ginger-garlic paste and cornflour and mix. 5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry soya chunks till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. 6. Add fried soya chunks to the sauce and mix well. Add cornflour slurry, stir and cook till the mixture thickens. 7. Slit hot dog buns from the centre and fill with a generous portion of soya chunks mixture. Garnish with spring onion greens, drizzle mayonnaise on top and serve immediately.
