A quick and easy bhel recipe made using kaccha jowar or sorghum.SPICY PAUNK BHELIngredients1½ cups raw sorghum (paunk / kachcha jowar)1 medium onion, finely chopped1 medium tomato, finely chopped1 medium potato, boiled, peeled and cut into cubes2 tbsps chopped raw mango5-6 papdis + garnish2-3 tbsps sweet tamarind chutney1½ tbsps mint chutney½ tsp chaat masalaSalt to taste1 tbsp lemon juice2 tbsps chopped fresh coriander leaves + garnish10-12 green garlic stocks, chopped1 tbsp thick yogurtPepper sev for garnishMethod1. In a bowl, add paunk, onion, tomato, potato, and raw mango. Crush papdis and add them to the bowl, add sweet tamarind chutney, mint chutney, chaat masala, salt, lemon juice, coriander leaves, green garlic stocks, yogurt and mix well.2. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with pepper sev, papdi and coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
