An Idli recipe like none other!SPOT IDLIIngredientsReady-made idli batter as required2 tbsps gun powder (molagapodi)2 tsps oil + drizzling1-2 green chillies, chopped1 large onion, chopped1 medium tomato, choppedCoriander leavesSalt to tasteCoconut chutney to serveMethod1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add green chillies, onion, and sauté till translucent.2. Add tomato and mix well. Add salt, mix well and cook till pulpy.3. Add Molagapodi, mix well and add ¼ cup water, mix well and spread the mixture evenly. Cook for 2-3 miniutes.4. Meanwhile, add salt to the idli batter and mix well. Add ladleful of batter on to the onion-tomato mixture. Cover and cook for 6-8 minutes.5. Flip each idlis, drizzle a little oil and cook for 2-3 minutes. Take if off the heat.6.
