Steamed Cake in Idli Shape | भाप में बना, खाने में केक जैसा, दिखने में इडली - बनाने में आसान | Nisha Madhulika | TedhiKheer

Steamed Cake, Sweet Idli Cake, No Bake Cake Idli, Easy Eggless Steamed Cake recipe.

Ingredients :
Semolina (सूजी ) - 1 cup (180 gms )
Sugar (चीनी ) - 1/2 cup (100 gms)
Ghee (घी ) - 2 tbsp (30 gms )
Full cream milk (फुल क्रीम दूध ) - 1 cup
Baking powder (बेकिंग पाउडर ) - 3/4 tsp
Green Cardamoms (इलाइची ) - 5 to 6

How to Steamed idli in shape of cake :
1. Take 6 small cardamoms, coarsely grind and make powder from it.
2. Take 1 cup semolina in a mixing bowl,Add 1 cup milk to it.Stir well till it blends, Add 2 tbsp ghee, 1/2 cup sugar, mix well. Keep the batter aside for 15 to 20 minutes.
3. After 20 minutes, stir the batter well. Add cardamom powder to the batter, 3/4 tsp baking powder and mix well.
4. Take any vessel , big enough for idli stand.Place vessel on flame, turn on flame. Pour 2 cup water in it.Cover it. Let the water boil.
5. Grease the idli moulds,Pour batter in small quantity in the stand.Arrange it diagonally. Meanwhile check if the water is boiling.Place the idli stand in the vessel. Keep the flame high.
6. After 12 minutes, idli is ready. Poke the idli with knife and check. Let the idli cool off. Rotate the knife and take out the idli.

Serving :
7. Mouth drooling Idli cake is ready. It is a favorite among kids.You can pack it in kids lunch box. You can eat it with less spicy, coconut or peanut chutney.
