STICKY CHICKEN WINGS Ingredients 8 chicken wings, tips removed and halvedOil for greasing Salt to taste Crushed black peppercorns to taste 2 teaspoons sesame oil 1 tablespoon chopped garlic ½ tablespoon chopped ginger1 tablespoon soy sauce ½ teaspoon paprika 1½ tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons cornflour slurry 1 teaspoon vinegar Chopped spring onion greens for garnishing Method 1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C. Grease a baking tray with some oil. 2. Put chicken wings in a bowl. Add salt and crushed peppercorns, mix well and set aside for 10-15 minutes. 3. Transfer the chicken wings on the greased tray, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 40 minutes. 4. Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and ginger and sauté till fragrant. 5. Add soy sauce, paprika and ¼ cup water and mix well. Add honey and mix well. 6. Add cornflour slurry, mix well and cook till the sauce thickens. 7. Add chicken wings and mix. Add vinegar and mix. Adjust salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. 8.
