STRAWBERRY KHEERIngredients9-10 fresh strawberries, washed½ cup + 2 tbsps sugar5 cups milk¼ cup rice, soaked for 15-20 minutesA pinch of green cardamom powderStrawberry slices for garnishPistachio slivers for garnishMethod1. Roughly chop strawberries and set aside. Heat a non-stick pan, add strawberries, sauté well. 2. Add 2 tbsps sugar and mix well. Cook till the strawberries are pulpy, sautéing occasionally. 3. Heat milk in a non-stick deep bottom pan; let it come to a boil, stirring occasionally. 4. Add rice and mix well. Cook till the rice is completely cooked.5. Add remaining sugar and mix well. Cook for 4-5 minutes on low heat. Add green cardamom powder and mix well.6. Switch the heat off and add the strawberry compote, mix well. Garnish with strawberry slices and pistachio slivers.
