Stuffed Tomato recipe or Bharwan Tamatar recipe is a top restaurant quality veg gravy dish that will delight your heart. Worth the time and effort you will be putting in to prepare this dish. A star dish for every party. Here is how to make stuffed Tomato at home.

Ingredients:

5 Tomatoes
1 large boiled Potato
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1/2 cup grated Paneer
1 tsp Cumin/Jeera powder
1/2 tsp Salt

For the Gravy:
1 sliced Onion
1 sliced Tomato
2 tbsp Cashew nuts
2 tbsp Melon seeds
1/2 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
2 Cardamom/Elaichi
2 Cloves
3 slit green Chillies
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric/Haldi
1 tsp Kasuri methi
2 tbsp Ghee
3 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Garam masala
2 tbsp Cream
1/2 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Coriander leaves

Method:
-- Prepare the Tomatoes by cutting the top, scooping the inside and slicing the base.
-- Prepare the stuffing by adding Cumin powder, Garam masala and salt to mashed Paneer and Potatoes.
-- Stuff the Tomatoes with the filling, close and secure it with toothpicks. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
-- In the same pan, saute sliced Onions, sliced Tomatoes, Cashew nuts, Melon seeds and Ginger Garlic paste for 3-4 minutes. Cool and grind to a paste.
-- Heat Oil, slit Green Chillies, Cardamom, Cloves, Ground paste and fry till Oil separates.
-- Add Kashmiri Chilli powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric, Garam masala, Sugar and water and cook for 2-3 minutes.
-- Place stuffed Tomatoes in the Gravy and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
-- Add Cream and garnish with Kasuri methi, Coriander leaves and grated Paneer.
-- Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
-- Stuffed Tomato gravy is ready to serve.
