#SUNNUNDALU - సున్నుండలు

#Sunni vunda, or #Sunnundalu (Telugu: సున్నుండ) is #Andhra Pradesh's famous #laddu. #Minapappu or #Urad_Dal is first roasted dry until it turns golden brown and then is sieved. #Ground_sugar, #cardamom seeds, #ghee is added and mixed well and then with a handful of #butter it is made to a round shape.

Ingredients:
Urad dal (Minapa pappu) - 1 12/ cups
Rice - 1/4 cup
Sugar powder - 1 1/2 cups
Ghee - 1 cup
Cashews - 10

Method:
Roast urad dal and rice and grind it into powder (Not too soft).
Roast cashew pieces in ghee and take them into a bowl.
Mix urad dal and rice powder with sugar and roasted cashews.
Add ghee to it and mix well.
Make lemon size balls with prepared mix.
Tasty sunnundalu are ready to serve.
