Fish Pickle || മീൻ അച്ചാർ || Super Tasty Pickle || Salt and Pepper || Salt N Pepper || meen acharSpicy and extremely tasty fish pickle recipe for all the pickle lovers, especially non veg pickleIngredientsFish - 3 kg (white tuna) or (any fleshy fish of your choice)Turmeric - 1 1/2 tspSalt - to tasteGinger (thinly sliced) - 1 cupGarlic (thinly sliced) - 1 cupCurry leaves - fewRed dry chilly - 3 - 4Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbspMustard oil - (as required) for fryingVinegar - 50 - 60 mlMustard - 1tspFenugreek powder - 1/2 tspAsafoetida powder - 1/2 tspChilly powder - 4-5 tbspPepper powder - 1 tbspMethod -1) Clean and cut the fish in small cubes.2) Marinate the fish using turmeric powder and salt for 30 minutes.3) Heat Mustard oil in a heavy bottom pan or kadai until smoke appears.4) Fry the fish pieces in batches in medium flame until little crispy.5) Take a large pan and add the same oil that is used to fry the fish.6) Splutter Mustard seeds once the oil is hot followed by dried chilly, curry leaves, sliced ginger, and garlic. Keep the flame in low.
