Tahini is very simple to make an is a staple in many cuisines . A valuable addition to several Lebanese dishes, it is made from roasted sesame seeds.

TAHINI

Ingredients

1 cup sesame seeds
12-16 garlic cloves
½ cup olive oil

Method

1. Combine sesame seeds, garlic cloves and olive oil in a grinder jar and grind well. Add little water and grind again to a smooth paste.
2. Refrigerate and store. Use as required.
