A quick and yummy clams recipe for a lazy afternoon. TEESRIYA (CLAMS) KOSHIMBIRIngredients400 gms clams, halved1½ tbsps coconut oil2-3 green chillies, finely chopped2 medium onions, peeled and finely choppedSalt to taste½ tsp turmeric powder1 tsp garam masala powder1 tbsp finely chopped gingerBlack pepper powder to taste3-4 kokum pieces2½ tbsps freshly chopped coriander leaves2½ tbsps scraped fresh coconutMethod 1. Heat coconut oil in a deep non-stick pan, add green chillies and sauté for a minute. Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes on medium heat or till they turn golden brown.2. Take clams in a bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder, garam masala powder and ginger in clams and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 2-3 minutes.3. Add the marinated clams in pan and mix well. Sprinkle little water and cook on medium heat for 5-6 minutes.4. Add black pepper powder, kokums, coriander and coconut. Mix well. Cook on medium heat for 2 minutes. 5.
