12 saffron threads
1 onion
1/3 cup dried apricots
1/3 cup dried cherries
1/3 cup raisins
1/8 tsp cinnamon powder
1/8 tsp cumin
1/8 tsp all spice
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground cardamom
salt
6 tbsp butter
