Kung Fu Panda 3! It's almost here, and I am onBOARD! But did you know the character of Po is actually based on a real panda? The actual Kung Fu Panda live's in Chengdu. His name is A Bao 阿宝. During preproduction for Kung Fu Panda 2, some of the crew used A Bao for inspiration in drawing baby Po for the flashback and dream sequences.A Bao is grown up now, and he pretty much looks like all the rest of the Panda's at the Chengdu Research Base for Giant Panda Breeding.He doesn't actually to Kung Fu, but he likes to snack a lot, much like myself.
