A delicious pakoda perfect for a nice rainy evening!TOMATO CHUTNEY PAKODAIngredients2 cups Bengal gram flour (besan)3 medium tomatoesGreen chutney as required½ tsp red chilli powder¼ tsp turmeric powderSalt to tasteA pinch of baking soda ¼ tsp carom seeds (ajwain)Oil for deep fryingChaat masala to serveMethod1. Take besan in a bowl. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, a pinch of baking soda, ajwain, and add sufficient water. Mix well to form a thick batter and set aside.2. Thickly slice 1 tomato, and set aside.3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, place a portion of green chutney on each slice of tomato, dip it in the batter and drop into the hot oil.4. Deep fry the tomato pakode till golden and crisp. Drain on the absorbent paper. 5.
