TOMATO IDLI UPMA
Ready in a jiffy, this upma can please everyone

Ingredients

10-12 leftover idlis
½ cup chopped tomatoes
1½ medium onions
2 tbsps oil
¾ tsp split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal)
½ tsp mustard seeds
15-20 curry leaves
2-3 green chillies, chopped
Salt to taste
½ lemon

Method

1. Chop onions. Heat oil in a non-stick wok, add split black gram, mustard seeds, curry leaves and onions and saute.
2. Put the idlis in a mixer jar and crumble them.
3. When onions change colour slightly, add tomatoes and green chillies and saute for 1 minute.
4. Add crumbled idlis and mix. Add salt and mix. And juice of ½ lemon and mix.
5. Put into a serving bowl and serve hot.
