Whole Cinnamon ½ inchFor rasam Chopped tomato 1cupTamarind paste 2tspWater as requiredTurmeric powder ¼ tspSalt to tasteOil 1tspHing 1tspMustard seeds 1tspChopped garlic 1tspChopped green chilies 1tspChopped onions ½ no.Curry leaves 10-15no.Rasam powder 1tbspChopped coriander 1 ½ tbspMethod:-1. Dry roast chana dal, urad dal, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, whole black pepper seeds, whole red chilies, whole cinnamon and grind it in mixture2. Now in the pan add chopped tomato, tamarind paste, water, turmeric powder and salt to taste and let it cook properly till the tomatoes are cooked.3. Mash the tomatoes with the help of a masher and let it cook again.4. Now in other pan add oil, Hing, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, whole red chilies, urad dal, chana dal, chopped garlic, chopped green chilies and sauté it for 2 mins.5. Now add chopped onions and curry leaves and sauté it properly.6. Now add the rasam in it and rasam powder and mix it properly.7. Let it cook for 8-10 mins while it is covered.8. Now add chopped coriander and boil it again.9. Adjust the consistency of the rasam.10. Our tomato pepper rasam is ready.11.
