Trader Vic was first and foremost a Tiki Cocktail connoisseur... he's know for some of the most famous Tiki Cocktails and Rum Cocktails ever. But Trader Vic did dabble in other drinks; this tequila cocktail is one of the few that can be found in his books.

Ingredients:
½ lime
1 ounce tequila
½ ounce crème de cassis
Ginger ale
Squeeze and drop shell of lime in a 10 ounce glass; add cracked ice, tequila, and crème de cassis; fill rest of glass with ginger ale.
