Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.2. Cut ridge gourd into roundels. 3. Combine gram flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and 3 tablespoons warm oil alongwith some water to make a smooth batter.4. Put ridge gourd roundels into the prepared batter and mix well. 5. Deep-fry each roundel into hot oil till golden and crisp. Drain in absorbent paper.6.
