UKAD PENDIIngredients1½ cups whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)¼ cup oil2-3 green chillies, chopped2 tbsps chopped garlic2 medium onions, choppedSalt to taste1½ tsps red chilli powder½ tsp turmeric powder½ tsp dried mango powder (amchur)½ tsp asafoetida (hing)½ tsp sugar2-3 tbsps chopped coriander leavesFresh coriander sprig for garnish Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Add onions, mix and cook till golden brown.2. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and dried mango powder and sauté for 1-2 minutes. 3. Add whole wheat flour and sauté till fragrant and golden brown. Add 3 cups water, mix and cook for 7-8 minutes.4. Add asafoetida and sugar and mix well. Add coriander leaves, mix and cook for a few seconds.5.
