Learn how to make Upvas special Maharashtrian style quick Batatyacha Rassa (Potato Curry) recipe from our chef Smita Deo on Ruchkar Mejwani.Ingredients:3 Potatoes, chopped1/2 Cup Coconut4 Green Chillies1/2 inch Ginger2 Cups Water3 tbsp Curd1/2 Cup Peanuts, soaked1 & 1/2 tbsp Oil1 tsp Cumin SeedsRock SaltCoriander leavesMethod:- First in a mixer grinder add grated fresh coconut, green chillies and ginger. Add little water and grind everything to a paste. Keep this masala paste aside.- In a pan heat some oil.- Add cumin seeds, chopped potatoes & peanuts. Mix everything.- Add the masala paste & rock salt. Mix well.- Add water and cover it with a lid. Let the potatoes cook properly.- Then add the curd and coriander leaves.
