Scrumptious urad dal vadas with a spicy twist thanks to pepper!URAD PEPPER VADAIngredients1½ cups Tata Sampann Whole Urad DalSalt to taste1 small onion, finely chopped2 tsps crushed black peppercorns2 tbsps chopped fresh coconut6-8 curry leaves, finely chopped1-2 green chillies, finely chopped1½ tbsps freshly chopped coriander leavesOil for deep frying Method1. In a large bowl, add Tata Sampann Whole Urad Dal and wash it using sufficient water. Transfer into another bowl, add sufficient water and soak for 6-8 hours.2. In a blender jar, add the soaked urad dal along with salt, and a little water. Blend to a fine paste and transfer to a bowl.3. Add onion, crushed black peppercorns, coconut, curry leaves, green chillies and chopped coriander. Mix well.4. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, drop in portions of the prepared mixture with hands and deep fry on medium heat till golden and crisp. Drain on an absorbent paper.5.
