Ingredients:
Brinjals: 1/4 Kg
Chili Powder: 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt: 1/4 Teaspoon
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 a Teaspoon
Green Chilies: 5 to 6 No's
Coriander Leaves: 1/4 Cup
Ginger: 2 to 3 pieces
Garlic: 5 Cloves
Coconut: 2 Tablespoons pieces
Cashews: 7 to 8 soaked
Oil: 2 Tablespoons
Cloves: 3 No's
Cinnamon: 2 sticks
Star Anise: 2 Small pieces
Onion: 1 finely chopped
Tomatoes: 2 finely chopped
Salt: as needed

Method of Preparation:
Take 1/4 Kg of small and tender Brinjals, slit them as we do it for Bagara Baingan.
Now, will prepare a mixture to coat it, in a bowl add 1/2 a Tsp of Chili Powder, 1/4 Tsp of Salt, and Turmeric Powder each.
Add a Tbsp of Oil and mix them all well, stuff the mixture into the slits of Brinjals.
Steam the stuffed Brinjals in a steamer or on a plate with some water in a pan and steam it for 10 to 15 min with a lid on it.
Now, will prepare the Green Masala, add 5 to 6 Green Chilies to a mixie jar, add 1/4 cup of Coriander Leaves, 2 to 3 Ginger pieces.
Add 5 Garlic Cloves, and 2 Tbsp of Coconut pieces 7 to 8 Cashews soaked and grind them into a fine paste with some water if required.
Heat a pan with 2 Tbsp of Oil, add 3 Cloves, 2 sticks of Cinnamon, 2 small pieces of Star Anise and let saute for a while.
Add a finely chopped onion saute until brown, add 1/4 Tsp of Turmeric and 2 finely chopped Tomatoes and saute until soft.
Add the ground Masala saute/ fry for 2 to 3 minutes and add 1/4 cup of water or as required for the Gravy.
Add salt as needed, cook for some time/ for 2 to 3 min, and add steamed Brinjals, to cook the brinjals tender.
Let it cook for 5 more min so that they combine well,, we can the gravy is well cooked and thick in texture add some Lemon squeeze if wish to.
Ready, tasty Brinjal Curry with Green Masala.
