Makki di roti is a flat, unleavened Punjabi bread made from cornmeal, primarily eaten in the Punjab region in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent. Like most rotis in the Indian subcontinent, it is baked on a Tava.

Makki Di Roti is a Corn Flour or Maize Flour Bread made especially in winters and best served with Sarson Ka Saag (Mustard leaf mash). This bread is an unleavened flatbread that is gluten-free. It is commonly prepared during the occasion of Lohri.

(optional) 1 small (peeled & grated) Radish
to taste Salt
1cup (finely chopped) Radish leaves
4 cups Maize Flour (makki ka atta)
1 no Green chilli chopped
as required Water
as required Desi Ghee
