Melt desi ghee in a heavy bottomed kadai or a non-stick kadai.2. Roast suji in melted ghee for 10 min until it turns aromatics and leaves ghee. 3. Melt sugar in 4 cups water. Along with it add saffron strands. 4. Gradually add sugar water in roasted sooji. Cook till all water is absorbed. 5. Garnish halwa with nuts of choice and serve immediately.
