Zucchini Corn Crispy Balls | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Grated zucchini mixed with corn kernels, shaped into balls and deep fried. This recipe is easy to make. Do try !

ZUCCHINI CORN CRISPY BALLS

Ingredients

1 cup grated green zucchini
½ cup corn kernels, blanched
5-6 readymade jeera butter
Salt to taste
Black pepper powder to taste
½ teaspoon dried mixed herbs
3-4 medium potatoes, boiled, peeled and mashed
Cornflour slurry as required
Oil for deep-frying

Method

1. Grind jeera butter to a fine powder.
2. Mix together zucchini, corn kernels, salt, pepper powder, mixed herbs and potatoes in a bowl.
3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into balls.
4. Dip the balls in the cornflour slurry and coat with the prepared powder.
5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry the balls till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
6. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
