In this video I show you how to make 2 basic chutneys for chaat, pani puri, Bhel, Sev Puri, sandwiches, dahi bhalla etc.
Dips and relishes are an integral part of every cuisine, but we Indians use and make so many varieties of dips, each with a different twist in taste which cannot be compared to anyone else in the world.
Tamarind chutney is a sweet chutney and Green chutney is a spicy chutney used in Indian chaats. चाट चटनी are used in popular chaat recipes like Bhel, Sev Puri, Pani Puri etc.


[Ingredients] :
Tamarind chutney:
~50g Tamerind
~100g Jaggery or Sugar
~1/2 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
~1 teaspoon Cumin powder
~1 teaspoon Coriander powder
~1/2 teaspoon Black salt
~1/2 teaspoon Salt
~1/2 teaspoon Dry ginger powder
~A pinch of Hing / Asafoetida (1/8 tsp)
~1.25 cup Water

Green/Hari Chatney Recipe:
~1 cup Coriander leaves
~1/2 cup Mint leaves
~2 Green Chillies
~2 inch Ginger
~3-4 Garlic cloves
~1/2 Tsp Roasted cumin powder
~1/2 tablespoon Lemon juice
~1/2 teaspoon Salt
~A pinch of Hing / Asafoetida (1/8 tsp)
