Try this simple, delicious and healthy kurukku kalan (plantain yogurt curry) at home and give us your feedback below!

Ingredients:
One raw, green plantain peeled, washed and cut into pieces
Two green chilies split into two
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp jaggery
1 tsp dry-roasted fenugreek powder
Half a cup grated coconut
Half a tsp cumin seeds
2 chopped green chilies
Few curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
10 fenugreek seeds
2 curry leaves
Coconut oil
Salt to taste
Water
1 cup low-fat thick yogurt (stirred well)

Tip: You can also add pieces of yam (equal amount as the plantain) to make the curry thicker
