Subscribe to our channel to join our Foodies fam & HIT that notification bell so youll never miss a new delicious recipe.Full recipe Serves 8 Hands-on time: 10 minutes Hands-off time: 40 minutes INGREDIENTS 2 tins (410g each) pear halves in syrup cup Oude Meester Ginger Liqueur 1 box (500g) vanilla cake mix 170g ( cup) butter, cold Serving suggestion: Icing sugar Vanilla custard Oude Meester Ginger Liqueur on the rocks METHOD 1. Preheat the oven to 180C and grease a rectangular baking dish. 2. Add the pear halves with the syrup to the baking dish, flat-side down. Carefully cut the pear halves into quarters. 3. Pour the Oude Meester Ginger Liqueur evenly over the pears. Sprinkle the vanilla cake mix over the pears and shake the baking dish lightly to distribute the dry cake mix evenly. 4. Carefully grate the cold block of butter over the cake mix. *Chefs Tip: Ensure the top is covered with an even layer of butter to form a beautiful crust when baking! 5. Bake the pudding for 40 minutes or until the base is sticky and the cake is cooked through with a golden brown crust. 6. Lightly dust the pudding with icing sugar.
