Aaron's China Guide E48 - 番茄排骨粥 - Tomato ribs congee | Aaron Sawich

Time for another Aaron's China Guide theme month, this month it's rice porridge or congee. For the first week, we will eat tomato ribs congee. The Chinese call it zhou. There is another version of this that is much more watery called xi fan 稀饭. This is a popular breakfast food but can be eaten at any time of the day. The congee in this video is called fan qie pai gu zhou 番茄排骨粥. They added tomato, pork ribs and green onions give it a great flavor. Don't miss this healthy and delicious food if you come here.
