It's time for an Aaron's China guide video about Chinese snacks. I went downtown to a street food area in Chongqing to find these delicious snacks. First, there are sesame balls or ma yuan 麻圆. These balls are sweet and crunchy with sesame seeds on the outside. Second is the lao zao xiao tang yuan 醪糟小汤圆 or small rice dumplings. These have some fermented alcohol sticky rice in the soup, and the rice dumplings have a sweet taste to them. Both are cheap, delicious, and worth trying.
