Aaron's China Guide brings you another delicious Sichuan food. Liang fen 凉粉 cold jelly noodles are a jelly-like food made from rice. Similar to noodles, but they are cut into 3D rectangles. It is very spicy, cold, and is usually served as a starter or as a snack food. Xia gan guo 虾干锅 or shrimp dry pot is awesome too. This Chinese food is also spicy. Similar to hot pot but without the oil to cook stuff in. The food is already cooked and served dry in a pot. We also ordered zhe er gen 折耳根 which is sort of like a Chinese salad with a spicy vinaigrette dressing. These are a must-try in China.
