Aaron's China Guide E65 - 万州烤鱼 - Wanzhou BBQ fish BEST fish in China | Aaron Sawich

If you like eating fish, then this is a must-try in China. The taste of Wanzhou BBQ fish is out of this world. Wanzhou is a city about 500 km outside of Chongqing where the best BBQ fish was created. Wan zhou kao yu 万州烤鱼 is Mandarin for Wanzhou BBQ fish. First, the fish is cut in half and BBQed, then placed in a hot pan with oil and topped with delicious veggies. The pan is heated from below when it's served to you so the fish stays hot. One of my favorites and a must if you are doing a Chongqing food tour.
