Slit chicken breasts horizontally and cut diagonally into medium size pieces. Transfer into a bowl.2. Add soy sauce, garlic, salt, crushed peppercorns, 1 tablespoon cornstarch, egg and vinegar and mix well. Set aside for 20-25 minutes.3. Spread the almonds on a plate and add remaining cornstarch, salt and crushed peppercorns. Mix well. 4. Coat the marinated chicken with the almond mixture evenly.5. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
